The Bustard is a 17th century former coaching inn on the old Salisbury to Devizes road. The building was purchased by the charity to use as its headquarters and residential center in 2009.
Since that time Gul has undertaken a major refurbishment of the Bustard, converting the old Bar and Snug into recreation areas and setting up an office upstairs.
The Bustard facilities are available to hire and include a Bar and Function room with a licence and capacity for 140 people, beautifully maintained gardens, two twin rooms with en-suites and one bunk room capable of sleeping up to 8 people. For information about room hire and accommodation charges please see HERE.
Each year the Bustard hosts several events such as the Art Exhibition in May, The Gift Fair in November, cream teas each Sunday through summer and craft workshops, in the run up to Christmas. Gul also hosts lectures and hosts health and prevention workshops such as the LEAP, E-LEAP and Boot Camps which are run in partnership with Salisbury Plain Health Partnership. Find out about our health workshops HERE.
