Riverside was purchased by the Charity in 2009 and functions as the main base for our outdoor therapies and activities. The site is situated in an area of Shrewton Village known as The Cleeve and is a 19 acre site, made up of mixed use woodland, stables, grazing and our outdoor arena.
Riverside is currently home to our horses and ponies, you can find out more out them HERE, as well as a huge variety of native wildlife such as rabbits, squirrels, foxes, badgers, buzzards and owls. Keen beans can also spot pyramid orchids, wild garlic and fire mushrooms as well!
In 2014 an average of 204 hours each week of therapy took place at Riverside and this is expanding as we extend and improve our site. Each year the site plays host to several outdoor events such as our Open Day and Summer Show as well as an extensive list of activities many of which use horses. You can find more information on this HERE.
